Rob Lewinski

Professional Experience
Rob has provided counseling services to individuals, couples, and families since 2004. He has helped those experiencing high levels of distress related to individual, marital, and familial issues. As a counselor in Charlotte, Rob has helped clients examine and resolve issues such as purpose/meaning, fear, and “stinkin thinkin”. Throughout his tenure as a therapist, Rob has chosen to provide only those interventions that have been empirically validated over time with a foundation of biblical grace and truth.
Approach to Therapy
Rob’s eclectic approach to therapy employs a variety of psychotherapy orientations which can help clients solve their presenting problems. He intends to offer unconditional positive regard and empathy, while offering insight to change through Neurofeedback, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR & EMDR-M), Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), and Family Systems therapies. Rob believes that the Bible is a remarkable guide for getting through life circumstances and when a client is open to Biblical principles, he takes an integrated approach to counseling by blending Biblical principles with sound clinical insight from the study of psychology. However, these principles are never imposed on clients.
