Approach to Therapy

Diane’s theoretical orientation is eclectic using Cognitive-Behavioral Theory (CBT), Emotionally-Focused Theory (EFT), Psychoanalytic and Person-Centered approaches to therapy, allowing herself to be led by the needs and desired outcomes of the client. More important than theoretical orientation is providing a safe, non-judgmental space where one’s human value and purpose is seen, heard and validated. Upon request, a faith-based, biblical perspective can also be integrated into the therapeutic process.
